CCI Provides Crew for HDNET

 

CCI's Videographer, Dan Jones, was honored to work three recent shuttle launches - the STS-125, STS-127 and STS- 128. The STS-125 crew repaired the Hubble Space telescope. The STS-127 launch and crew brought supplies to the International Space Station. And the most recent launch of Discovery carried supplies and a new crew member to the International Space Station.

On all three launches Dan served as a camera operator. He shot the talent during a live show on HD NET. Greg Dobbs was the host for all three launches. Greg also hosts and appears in other shows on HD NET's programing. Dan was also responsible for setting up shots of NASA's Vehicle Assembly Building and countdown clock with two other cameras. The cameras used on the shoot were Sony HD camera EX 1.

Each HD Net broadcasts covers a live one hour show featuring astronaut interviews, suit up, space craft boarding, and lift off.
